The history of the federal law of the United States can be traced back to times when America became one of the English colonies. Evolution of federal law can began with Roman social law (1100 A.D.) together with Magna Carta (1215). This study analyzes the starting points of the federal law and societal matters of colonial rule which were the origins of configuration of U.S. federal law. The paper also includes the original legislative acts in particular Articles of Confederation, Amendments to the Constitution, and U.S. Constitution itself. Paper then emphasizes the role of significant Supreme Court cases to conclude the ways that federal law is understood in by the court branch. It has been established that explanation of the Constitution has many different sides depending on general interests and the approach Articles of Constitution are understood



There exist two separate forms of social associations: planned system of directive and spontaneous system. At the same time as planned system of direction refers to what a chief planner prefers to implement in reference to particular scheme, spontaneous system develops through the deliberate cooperation of people. Federal law of the United States is a standard illustration of spontaneous organization of order, an outcome of societal needs. There are four foundations of law in the United States: administrative law, the federal law (or legitimate law), common (or case) law, and statutes.




Learning the federal law it is necessary to identify the achievements in arrangement of American federal law. First of all, the historical basis of legal system of the U.S. has to be presented.
